Is it weird to you?

Is it weird to have people watching you give birth like your parents or whoever is NOT your SO ?? 
I have always thought having your parents or relatives watching it is just weird. Not only is it a special moment but to have them seeing everything.

At first I thought it was, but looking back I didn’t care. Once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all 🤷‍♀️

I seriously could have delivered on the pitchers mound in a full stadium, and wouldn't have cared. In the moment, all that you want is that baby safely out of you haha you don't really care who sees what.

No offense to my husband but he was super useless when I was in labor. If it hadn't been for my mom and sister there I would have lost it. So no it wasn't weird for me lol

I cared SO much about who was going to be in the room prior to labor. I only wanted my husband and no other friends or family. I was so concerned because I knew his mom wanted to come in. I didn't want medical students either. When I was actually in labor, the president could've walked in and I wouldn't have cared. I did not give two fucks who saw my vagina, I just wanted my son out of me lol.

My mum stayed at my side the whole way through and my husband the other side I never had anyone actually watch anything down there other then the midwives, thinking back now I'm glad it happened that way but at the time I don't think I would have been bothered 🙈

At first i thought it would be weird, but once your in labor and your legs are up for everyone to see and you have been pushing for hours,  you dont care.  My mom and husband were with me with my first.  For the on the way, I asked my cousin if she wanted to be there 😊

For my son I only wanted my husband in the room. Now that I know what to expect I wouldn't mind having my mom in the room too if I ever have another baby. I would ask that she stand where she can't see what's going on until like the baby is coming out though hehe.

I didn't even want family members in the room before I went in for my c-section. I told everyone they could be at the hospital because they said they would be in the waiting room and I was kind of upset when they showed up in my room when I was getting prepped. Thankfully my nurses instantly picked up on me not being happy about it and kicked them out for me. 
I had a ton of med students working with me though and I didn't care about that lol. I just didn't want anyone who wasn't my husband and not staff around.
