I had this at 5 weeks as well. Was told it was old blood and as long as it didn’t turn red it was fine. I’m 15 weeks now and haven’t spotted since.

I started having brown discharge too at 8 weeks, they said it was normal as it's just old blooded. I also only had it after going to the bathroom and wiping
