What does back labor feel like

Has anyone experienced back labor? What exactly does it start out feeling like? I'm 39 weeks and the past hour my back has started hurting, it's coming and going. Not too painful but it's a pretty bad ache.

I had back labor with my first (she was sunny side up — back to back w me) and it felt like searing shards of hell all over my lower back. I’m hoping to avoid it this time.

Mine felt like my hips and lower back were literally being crushed/broken into pieces. My back and pelvis hurt for 2wks after delivery. It was awful. I was at a 0 and they gave me an epidural for the pain. I had no contractions in the front.

I had back labor in early labor and mine felt like constant back pain that would not go away and got worse as the day went on. It was horrible.

It feels like really bad abdominal cramping. It's not like having your back muscles hurt or strained. It will also come and go at regular intervals and your stomach will feel really hard when it happens.
