Thank you basket for hospital staff?

Is anyone going to make a thank you basket or baggies for their l&d nurses? I want to but am having trouble with an original idea... If you are post your ideas

My sister is a nurse in labor and delivery and she says they ALWAYS appreciate food! I know little baggies are a cute idea when you look on Pinterest, but imagine how many people do that now. How many packs of gum, travel creams, and hand sanitizers do you need really? However, FOOD gets them through their 12 hour shift. The only problem is shift changes. My sister would get bummed when she is the one working for hours on the night shift and then the parents would bring food for the next shift. 
Either way, any show of gratitude is much appreciated, but food is what they most like want. Even something simple like pizza. I think we will get Olive Garden or Carrabas catering.

We will bring 4 dozen bagels and a bunch of cream cheese from an amazing local bagel place.  Half for day shift and half for the night shift.  My mom is taking care of it, so it’s one less thing for us.

I’m bringing the midwives a box of locally made chocolates along with some pumpkin bread.

you could do something like hand creams they are constantly washing there hands and a nice smelling and feeling hand cream is amazing when your constantly doing that

I'm planning on getting them a box of coffee from Starbucks, and possibly a box of donuts. My mom is friends with the head nurse in L&D so I'll check with her the week before my c-section to see how many are on staff that day.

My husband brought in a tray of different cookies and pastries for the nurses with our first and they were a big hit, so we’ll probably do the same again!

We did a gift basket of chocolate covered espresso beans and different Starbucks via coffees. Honestly though, I’m not doing anything this time.
