Am I pregnant ????? Help!!!!!

I had sex a week ago my period was 3 days late I'm on birth control I'm never late I've been on it for three years. I took a test but it was negative I got my period today ( I think that what it is) but its light and its pink I also didn't take the pregnancy test properly this morning. am i possibly pregnant ?
