Our nickname for our baby invitro is Mandu. It means dumpling in Korean. Is it weird that my mother in law renamed it something entirely different? She started calling it soybean.  She keeps asking me how her little soybean is doing. I told my husband I find it a little creepy and he thinks I’m overreacting. She also told me to congratulate her as well when we found out we were having a girl because she always wanted a daughter....but she couldnt have kids after my husband (her only child). She was like this after I had my first baby (a boy). I asked her for some privacy so I could breastfeed but she wanted to see. I had to get the nurse to kick her out of the room. My father in law is no different. He jokingly told every stranger we met that my son was his.. and that my husband and I were his other kids too 😖 my in laws creep me out. I feel like they regret only having one son so they do this all the time. Scared to have my daughter because of this....
