Baby shower disappointment....😕

Ok so we had this shower planned out for 2 months. My cousin came from out of town just to throw one for me. I had the perfect location. At beautiful Hampton Park in Downtown Charleston Sc. So when we got out there, there were not 1, not 2, but 3 weddings going on...🤤. but they were packing up to leave but all the tables we planned on using that were usually spread out around the park were gone! I went on a witch hunt to find it. I was wobbling all around that huge park to find them. finally after about 20 minutes of looking we found them all together but there was a group set up with them. Luckily they were leaving. So we set up there. Great part about that was we went from worried about not enough seating for the expected group to having more than needed. So the party started at 5p. we got out there at 430p to set up. My cousin did such a great job.❤ Most of my immediate family was there. 1 of my friends showed up right at 5p. she kept me company while everyone else set up. It was a bring your family shower where kids and SO was invited to. by 6p none of the 26 people who RSVP showed up. by 615p we got a crowd of 6 that showed up. by 630p 2 more showed up. remind you the party was supposed to be over by 7p. it gets dark after that. Quickly. but we still got thru the shower and games in 1 hour. I had fun with the group that came that actually showed up. but really disappointed. trying not to let it bother me but wow.
