Flying solo

I was with a person for 10 years and had three miscarriages along the way. I also had early stage cervical cancer, and surgery to correct a septate uterus and to remove a benign polyp. At 36 years old, I am completely single. But I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I’ve been looking into donors, but the cost is so high. One of my best friends has volunteered to be my donor. I’ve now gone thru hormones testing and a pre-conception checkup with my OB/GYN. I start trying this week and I am so nervous. Not about doing this alone, but that it won’t happen for me.
