if I don't go to church will God doubt my faith in him?

I love God so much and I am a strong believer. but sometimes ( well most of the time) i am not up in time for church. I still pray daily and i would never doubt him. I hope he doesn't doubt me because I can't always make it to church :/

It's okay to miss sometimes, but it really pleases Him when you go! Corporate worship is important, being around other Christians is encouraging, and hearing the word preached and learning more about Him is wonderful!

Your relationship with Him is more than going to church. However, there is something to be said in doing something for Him even when you don't want to. I think we so often get caught up in how WE choose to worship but it isn't about our comfort zone, it's about obeying our God- even when it feels awkward and uncomfortable. Some weeks I don't want to go to church either- I often tell myself I'll just pray extra or bible study for longer. But there is something about saying "God, I don't want to do this, but I am going to because I am faithful you will show up." He won't let you down. He's there, and He loves you, and He wants to to step out of what's comfortable. I also know sometimes it's not possible to go to church even when we want to, so in that case, I would try watching it online! If you need a church to attend online, my church (Glad Tidings Victoria) broadcasts live every Sunday. Our adore service is geared towards millennials.

I personally believe that it matters more about your personal relationship with God. My family is currently trying to find a church since our old one got shut down. The issues is that my parents like this one church but me and my siblings don’t like it. Luckily my brother can drive now and we can go anywhere. And my sister is now in college so she can go anywhere. But a lot this summer my family didn’t have a church. I really focused on my personal relationship with God through prayer worship and devotions. Before bed every night I like to listen to Christian music and just pray and talk to God. Despite all of this personal relationship with God stuff, it is helpful to have a community where you can be one with every that all love God and that would be a church or a bible study. Don't you think God is important enough to make it a priority to get up in time? Just my opinion. I was kinda in the same boat at you but then it hit me... if I can get up in time to go to work then why can't I do it for church. So now I get up in time for both! Lol

I used to have the same question about myself. I am a strong believer in Christ as well, but I had arguments with my mom about this subject. In the long run, she was 100% right, and I want to share with you what she said to me.
She said that you don’t HAVE to go to church to be a Christian. Many people go to church, and they’re not saved; we were all the person at one time. But I do feel like, for me, Church is a necessity. It really helps with keeping myself in line, and surrounding yourself with people who have the same faith as you, also helps make your faith even stronger. I could go on and on though lol

Your relationship with God isn’t about church. God tells us we need the covering of church for OUR benefit (having other believers in our lives that we can build bonds with is beneficial to our spiritual life) but our relationship with him doesn’t hinge on turning up to church on sabbath.
