Backstory: my boyfriend is in the army, we are both 18 and we have been dating for three years. I get along with his family famously and we are all a happy family. So anyway, his grandma stopped by today to give me some of his graduation pictures and we were chatting about how my boyfriend is going to propose soon, and I told her that I'm scared of how his parents will react, since we are both basically kids. She told me that we are both very mature and that his parents would have to suck it up, and that meant a lot to me. Her blessing is more important to me than his parent's blessing and I love her so much, she is amazing
