Who gets the remote?

How do you decide what to watch when your SO is home with you? Who gets the remote? Do you have a system or is there a remote hog?

We mostly agree on what to watch, when we don’t we take turns.

My husband ALWAYS gets it. Occasionally.. actually RARLEY.. he will turn it to something I want to watch. If I want to watch something I’ll have to go to the other room. He makes me hate tv.

I don't really care for tv so it's usually my husband watching it. I'll sit and watch whatever he's watching and if I so happen to be watching a show (rarely) he sits and watches it with me. were more into Netflix and Hulu and agree on what to watch together

I’m home all day with our daughter because I work from home. So I have it a good majority of the time. I’ll watch all my “girly” shows when he’s gone lol When he comes home, he gets it. But a lot of the shows he watches, i watch too. So it works.

I work morning and am home all day so I can watch whatever then, he works 2nd shift and gets the remote when he's home because he doesn't like the shows I watch lol but I don't care cuz I'm usually sleeping or fall asleep anyways lol

Its first come first serve in our house. If I don’t want to watch what’s he is then I do something else same goes for him.
