I got the paraguard IUD when I was 6w pp. I was breastfeeding and didn’t want to take the mini pill. When my daughter weaned at 13.5m I got my period back. It was so horrid heavy and I would get it every 10 days. After a few months of this I got back on the pill to help regulate since I was done nursing. I’m still getting my period every 10-12 days. My dr said give it 6m to regulate. Well I’m on month 5.5 and it’s still coming every 10-12days. Anyone else with the copper IUD experience this?? Before I got pregnant I only was on the pill and had no issues... so my feeling is it’s the IUD..
