17 and pregnant

I’m 17 and I’m pregnant with my first baby. This whole experience has been a roller coaster. So I have just graduated high school a year early and planned to go to a four year college and was all ready and I started to throw up, when I’ve never thrown up really in my entire life and I was tired more and I had just made love and I knew it was a mistake. But I was on FaceTime with him one day and threw up randomly and he asked me if I had my period yet and I told him that it didn’t start for a couple more days. He asked why I was throwing up and I said I’ve never done it as much as these past week. I started thinking I might be pregnant from the one night and I told him and he said go get a test. I was hesitant to because if I was I didn’t want to know. I also knew most women two weeks after making love is too early from a drug store test and I used that excuse. (They day to weight five days after your missed period). But he wanted me to go so I got a cheaper brand where it was two for $10. He wanted to sorta be there for me when I took them so I called him while waiting in the bathroom for them.

Then I looked and he FaceTimed me and I showed him and we both started crying and trying to figure out things. Then we had to tell our families which was very difficult but after being about 8 weeks pregnant we decided to not wait to get married so in less than three weeks we planned our wedding and it was amazing and it was less than $1,500.

And today I am about 23 weeks and a week ago we found out I was pregnant with a little girl and are excited.

My husband has a job at McDonald’s and it’s hard for me to find a job being a minor and pregnant. We are trying to save up every penny to pay for clothing and a crib and car seat and car.
