This month, my BBT has been ALL over the place, no discernible pattern. OPK’s predicted my ovulation at CD18 which is the same every month but I never had a temp spike.

This morning I temped orally with both my regular digital thermometer and my BBT thermometer at the same time just for comparison’s sake, and my regular thermometer was about .6 degrees higher than my BBT one. I usually temp vaginally for consistency as I sleep with a mouth guard and sometimes open my mouth. Just temped orally to get an apples to apples comparison and yes, I sterilized first!

My BBT thermometer is only a few months old, I think this is my 4th cycle using it. Could it need replacing already or is my cycle messed up?
