Does this sound like it'll be a vanishing twin?

So I went to the doctors today and they saw two sacs I'm 6+3 days last week at 5 weeks and 3 days they saw two sacs but failed to tell me because I was in the ER and for some reason they didn't tell me. Anyways today they saw one yolk sac in one of the gestational sacs and not one in the other gestational sac I'm wondering if this seems like vanishing twin syndrome I go back in on Thursday. I'm just wondering what you ladies think. Has this happened to anyone else?

It could also be that the babies implanted at different times! My mom is a midwife/nurse and she has told me that I would be shocked at how often the babies are actually a week or two apart in age.

Could go either way. 6w can still be too early too see much especially if they dont have the angle just right. Or it could be that one didnt develop but the other did. Good luck!
