When did your baby start sitting up?

My son is almost 17 weeks physically (14 weeks adjusted) and can sit up if I prop him. Just curious what everyone else's June baby is doing.

My daughter is 17 weeks and can sit up a little hunched for short periods of time. She pushed herself up once to straighten out her back, so I think she's starting to understand.  It helps to put toys in front of them because it'll encourage them to bend down to grab it then pull themselves back up to play with it.

This post freaked me out so bad because when I first saw it B wasn't sitting AT ALL! Like, I was googling "will my baby be behind because I hold him too much?" Then, all of a sudden, he sits up unassisted like it's no big deal! Here he is sitting on our bed this morning with our pup.

My baby has been able to sit propped since 17wks. And now can sit unassisted for a few minutes and she is 20wks.

my daughter is 17wks and she sits up in a bumbo or jumperoo unassisted. we practice sitting up when we play. she can sit only for a second or two with out help.

My LO is 19w and I can prop him against something with a back, but he can't sit up unassisted.
