38 weeks.. I went to the hospital this morning with lower back pain.. Honestly expected a kidney stone!! Turns out i was having several contractions and had dilated to a one. (Was 0 yesterday at my appointment) they monitored for 4 hours and things started to slow so I was allowed to go home. My doctor said I could go anytime now even this afternoon!! She said she didn't expect me to make it thru the weekend.. Any similar stories? I just read where early labor typically lasts 8-12 hours!! If that's true we are so close :)
