How long before we try again?

Question

We miscarried April 1, 2015. I have not started my cycle yet, but hopefully will any day. 
My question is this...my doctor told us not to try again for 3 months, but I've heard other doctors say 1 cycle, and another even suggested 6! 
I'm wondering what your doctor's recommended to you...

I have no health complications normally or during the pregnancy, and have a 3 yr old daughter.

I had three miscarriages in a row. After the third my doctor told me to wait three months before trying again. My last miscarriage was January 16th. My husband and I had sex on January 28th between snow storms (we own a plow business in New England!!... HUGE WINTER!)...anyways...I'm now 15 weeks pregnant and the baby and I are healthy as can be! I think that when your body is ready it will happen! Stay positive! Sending you baby dust!!

I miscarried and had a D&C on April 21. My doctor suggested waiting 1 cycle before TTC because it would be easier to pinpoint the dates but he also said if we got pregnant right away without seeing AF that was ok. His exact words were "if its not good to conceive right after a miscarriage then your body wouldn't be capable of it". It was very reassuring to hear him say that and gave me hope to try again as soon as I'm healed from the D&C. Good luck and baby dust to you.

I've had 2 miscarriages and after both the doctors told me to wait one cycle. But the only reason for this is so they can work out dates of your last period. Good luck

My doctor suggested waiting only one cycle. I feel like if your body is ready to get pregnant and releases an egg than it's okay. There really isn't any evidence that shows that you need to wait longer to have a healthy pregnancy.

Once cycle should be fine.  I had a D&E though. It may be different for a natural MC.

My doctor said wait one full cycle.  But...it was my birthday and we went away and, well, I'm 6+3 without ever having had AF after the miscarriage.

They found a 4mm SCH on the 5+2 ultrasound which they say is not due to getting pregnant so soon after the loss but I am still on pins and needles over it.  Every time I pee I'm scared to see blood... I think I'd feel this way no matter how far after the m/c I got pregnant again.

I was told I could try again asap. Best advice is from your doctor who knows you and has seen you. I would wait the 3 cycles like he suggested.

Before my 2nd child i had 2 miscarriages found out in april'weeks later lost our baby..got pregnant again in june lost our baby in july... we decided not to try seeing i was having a hard time staying pregnant decided to go on the depo when my hcg levels went down..well suprise after the injection it never crossed my mind to see if I was pregnant until i had symptoms  well i was 2months pregnant with my rainbow child hes 5 now and Healthy... another 7/14 lost baby 9/14 had to have d/c dr said to wait 3months to try and it work another rainbow child 21 weeks...hope all works out for you..

I miscarried on September 14th last year and got pregnant again straight after. They only say to wait so that they can date the baby correctly

I got pregnant 6 months after a mc I would say just start trying after the 3 they told you and by then your body should be healed and ready to conceive, best of luck to you! And I'm sorry to hear about your loss !
