How long does it take to get pregnant after 35?

Hi, I am 37, almost 38 and we are trying for our baby #1 naturally. How long does it take normally to get pregnant on this age? How long do you TTC naturally before visiting an specialist? I am on my TWW #1, currently 6dpo, due on 1.11 and don't feeling anything. My intuition is telling me I am out this month :(

I just turned 39 in Oct. my fiance and I had been trying for 8 months long distance... he then moved from VA and moved in with me here in FL. he moved in July 4th and we conceived in Aug. we are currently 12 weeks and 4 days!!

I'm 37 as well. We tried for over a year and half with no luck. Finally went in and saw fertility specialist. 2 years and 7 IUIs later, we finally got our first BFP. Don't give up! The best things never come easy!

I’m your same age...we started “not preventing” a year ago, and we’ve been seeing a fertility specialist since August. Ordinarily, you should seek help after 6 months of trying on your own. I had to resolve some hormonal imbalance first, so it took us a little bit longer

Im 39 and we've been trying for #2 for almost 2 years. I've had 2 miscarriages since then. Just today I got a very very faint line on a hpt. I go tomorrow for a blood test :-). My husband and I had just started the beginning of fertility tests but I'm not taking anything yet.  It can happen!

When I was 36, I got preggo the first month we tried. Had gotten off of the bc the month before after being on it for 9 years. I am now 40 and ttc #2. It’s been three months and still nothing 😞
