Bottle feeding guilt?

Any one else thinking they’d rather bottle feed but feeling guilty about it?  I feel like people make you feel so bad about even just thinking about it.

Fed is best. No matter if it's bottle or breast. Did you consider pumping and using a bottle? Or just formula.

I'll be bottle feeding breast milk. My biggest fear is a girl I know that just had her baby at hospital I'm going to had nurses constantly shoving her babies face to her breast trying to make her breastfeed. I'm so nervous they're going to try and force me into it but I'm not going to change my mind.

I chose to bottle feed my first baby and I agree people make you feel like your a bad mom for it and expect the workers in the hospital to do the same, atleast where I am from they push breast feeding so much and gave me a very hard time when I asked for formula but know at the end of the day no matter how u feed your baby you are still an amazing mother and formula does not change that !!! I know I was bottle fed and i survived and turned out fine along with many other people. You and your baby will be okay please do not let others make you feel guilty for any decision you make ever.

I am going to do everything I can to breast feed but I would NEVER make anyone feel bad for choosing a different route. A lot of people don't seem to realize they can disagree with someone & not have to voice that disagreement, or, at the very least, not be condescending about it. I agree with the above poster... FED is best. ❤️

I plan to breastfeed, and hopefully introduce a bottle with breastmilk a few months in (I'll be a full time working mom), but I would never judge a mother for bottle feeding her baby. Not everyone is able to BF, and with so many working moms out there today, sometimes bottle is what works best. Do what YOU need to do. As long as your little one is being fed, that is what's important! So much mom-shaming these days.

My baby will drink pumped breast milk exclusively from a bottle. Makes it easier when dad takes the night shift and a ton easier to ween him! Don't feel guilty!!!

At least consider expressing for a while. There’s so many antibodies and things synthetic formula can’t replicate. Also they have recently discovered micro plastics in any formula but apparently is still “safe”. Have a read about it. Would you grind up something plastic and add it to your baby’s bottle?

I breast fed my sons and didn’t exactly enjoy it so I felt like I would just bottle feed this time but I feel so guilty not giving her a chance to breastfeed so I’m going to go into it with an open mind and if I breastfeed great. If I don’t well that’s okay too..

As long as your baby is eating and is healthy that’s the only thing people should be worried about! I bottle fed my first and I plan on breastfeeding our second.. but I’m also not putting a ton of pressure on either of us. If it works for us then great, if not... bottle it is!
