My periods are never irregular I always start it at the last day of the of the and usually last 5 days. This time around I started my period Sept 24 - OCT 1 then on OCT started spotting lightly only when wiping ( brown reddish) then very heavy brown red when I wiped just that once it was lot then again spotting tell it faded away 3 days later.. I got concerned as too why I was spotting when to the doctors had blood test and got BFN was that too soon to test ? I have not received my period yet and no symptoms that I will soon.
