Is this normal? Cd 12 Clearblue OPK says high (flashing smiley) but temp dropped?

Wondering is this normal. First time tempting. I took a Clearblue Ovulation test and I got a flashing smiley face this morning for the first time this cycle...Yay!....but my temp was 96.48?...before they had been in the 97's. First time my body came on menstrual  after being on provera and clomid for 2 cycles.

Sometimes your temp drops just before ovulation. Keep temping and you'll know in a few days if you have ovulated because your temp will shift higher than the past 6 days and stay up for at least 12 days

Yes you can ovulate anytime during your cycle. Some women never ovulate on a regular schedule. Just depends on the person.
