Vitamins for healthy baby?

Anyone else have a perfectly healthy LO, yet their pediatrician prescribed vitamins? (My LO is EBF by the way, in case that makes a difference).

My baby girl is perfectly healthy but the doc has her on a vitamin D and iron supplement. She said the iron is because between 4 and 6 months their iron reserves start to deplete from birth (which I think she said can lead to developing anemia?) And because we haven't started her on solids we need to do the vitamin. Most of those early cereals are iron fortified so once we start the need for a vitamin will go away.

My daughter's pediatrician wants her to take  vitamin d because breastmilk doesn't give enough daily value.

My LO is 5 months and on a liquid multivitamin everyday. I have a 6 year old in school so I want her to have that little boost from germs. You can get a nice all natural one for cheap at the store. We use Zarbees infant multivitamin. They actually have a few depending on if baby is breastfed or bottle fed. Added vitamins is never a bad thing.
