Miscarriage but no positive pregnancy test

I never got a positive test but I pretty sure I was pregnant. I had a lot of symptoms that I have never had before even sore nipples and so tired cramping  along with others and missed period. Felt pregnant. Then around I would have been 4 to 6 week along. Started spotting on and off for a few days then a week later. Then after that week that's when  the clots and heavy bleeding came and still going for over a week now. But finally the clots have stopped and I think it's getting lighter. So I wonder if it really is a miscarriage. Not I don't feel pregnant and all my other symptoms are gone.
