Fmla question. Dr wrote 8 weeks off but I want 12
My doctor faxed in my paperwork for 8 weeks off because I have a c-section. I heard with fmla your allowed up to 12 weeks off. How would I request it? Is it through my employer or my doctor? I live in Michigan.
