How do I tell my boss??!?!

I have a high stress boss and I have a high stress job. Me going on maternity leave for 6 weeks is definitely not going to make him thrilled but ....don't get me wrong... he will be happy for me. I'm 11 weeks now and I know I have to tell him sooner than later... any funny ideas or ways to tell your super professional boss???!!! Gah...

My manager was the same way. I knew that every time someone handed in a slip to request time off he would read the reason out loud while they were in the room like it wasn't important and they didn't need the time off. I filled mine out and just wrote maternity leave, he read it looked at me with a big smile on his face and ended up hugging and congratulating me!

Your boss can’t say or do anything. Your pregnant. Your covered by the all. If you boss makes it hard on you, get a lawyer.
