You have less time for each other
There’s always silence when there used to be laughter
He doesn’t wait up for you like he used to
The affection doesn’t stop completely but rarely happens and they don’t notice it
Little things like that. 
Make sure to try and keep it fresh and new between you guys. Romance and spontaneous actions do a lot to keep the flare.
