“Viscosity” - My new $*#& Word

I just need to rant a little.

We have been trying for 16 months and did our first IUI due to male factor infertility. DH has been on Clomid for three months, and when I went in for the IUI his count got up to 30mil after being 5 mil. Whoohoo!!!!

But no...apparently the viscosity of the sample made it so we only had 440K for the IUI. How can that be????? No one ever told me that thickness would be a problem....so frustrated right now.

Anyone out there had any success with getting pregnant if husband has viscous Semen????? I could use a little hope right now...
