When to go to hospital?

For those that experienced back labor, how did you know when to go to the hospital? I’m having pretty good consistent back cramping, that gets worse on and off but I don’t know when to start timing them to know if I need to be checked. I’m 40 weeks + 4 days.

I calle and asked the hospital first time I thought I might need to go in and their answer was if it was worth calling to go in. Second time (which ended up being labor) my OB took time to listen to me instead of just saying to go in (even though she concluded I needed to). I’d check with your OB and ask their opinion.

I’m in the same position... I have slight pains in my abdominal area, just not as often and as consistent as my back pains... I’m having trouble trying to time it all as well. I feel like I’m going to be in labor and not know 😅 I’m already 3cm & 50% effaced. If I dilate to 4, my hospital will keep me. I just don’t know what’s going on or what to do...
