When did your baby smile their first real smile?

When did your baby smile their first real smile? I read that the average is 6 weeks old, but I've heard others say their babies smiled earlier. I don't mean the reflex/gas grins I mean actual smiles. How do you know it's a real smile?

oh u will know! 6 weeks for my girl. those three were when she first began, now at 20 weeks full blown smiles all day!

My daughter was probably 4-5 weeks old or so. Then she was laughing by 2 months and hysterically laughing by 3.5 months 😊 she’s a happy baby lol
