Whats the difference?

What's the difference between cm and discharge? I know this is a dumb question but I just wanna know. I mean they both come out of the vagina to cleanse it or something like that.

I used on two words differently for example just because I have cervical mucus doesn't mean it's coming out all day long like a discharge when I have intercourse or actually feel my cervical mucus by sticking your finger in there I would consider that cervical mucus but if something's actually coming out during the day then that's a discharge and I don't personally ever have discharge only if I check and that would be considered cervical mucus and there's not a whole lot
