Your cervix will rise higher up, and get super soft like your lips 👄

Your cervical mucus will be clear and very stretchy similar to egg whites.

If you don't know how to check your cervix placement, try washing your hands thoroughly and sitting on the toilet, slide your middle finger in as far as it will go and feel for a donut shaped lump. It's usually at the end of your vaginal tunnel, but in some cases (like me) it's placed lower along the side wall.

Before your period and during, it moves low and gets hard and firm.

During pregnancy it moves into a higher up but not max height position and gets a medium to soft texture and closes tight. (Do not use as a way to test for pregnancy, as it usually doesn't move into this position until late in your first trimester but can early so it's very unreliable and varies person to person greatly)

It's best to check every single day at the exact same time for an entire cycle or two so you know how your body works- as everyone is unique.

I have PCOS, so it is unreliable since my body gears up to ovulate several times in my ridiculously long cycle but cancels. I even get multiple positive OPK so they are a waste of money for someone like me.
