I’m 19 years old and I’ve never been prone to UTIs but I’ve been with my boyfriend for about two months now and I seem to be getting a UTI every week or two. They’re very mild and only last 2-3 days. I’ve talked with him about the importance of keeping downstairs clean (hand washing before touching, no back to front action) and I usually pee after sex. We always use condoms. Is there something else we should be doing to help prevent this?

My financial situation isn’t the greatest at the moment and I cannot afford to see my doctor right now but I’m noticing when i wipe after using the bathroom there are little blood colored things that look like a small gel bead if that makes sense? The size of about a flea and there’s usually only one every time I use the bathroom. Is that normal or is it a sign of something worse?
