I've  been here a few times.  Interesting museum there.  Great weather. I live just a couple hours away. Just watch out for a bitch named Brianna. J/k. I don't think she's there anymore...

It is so beautiful! Mountains and amazing sunsets. There’s a lot of outdoor activities to do! I miss it and would love to go back as well as the other wives I know. And my husband lol.

My AIT was in huachuca I liked it there’s a decent MWR a horse riding place on post. Off post it’s kinda limited unless you go to Tucson or bisbee

Eh. I am a fan of green scenery, so Huachuca wasn't for me. Although it does improve in the rainy season. There isn't much to do in Sierra Vista, but you can drive to Tucson or Phoenix for a day or weekend. The altitude will hurt your run time for awhile, but they're usually good at accounting for that. Bisby is kind of a neat place to visit, and not very far from there. It's an old mining town and some places are kind of hippy/artsy. At least it was like that 6 years ago.
