Cycle day 1? Does everyone start birth controls before meds? I am very very new to this

It depends on the IVF protocol. I went through 3 cycles, 1st was standard start with a US on day 2 to confirm everything was good to go and then meds starting day 3 (no BCP), 2nd was a flare protocol with 1 month BCP followed by US on day 2 and then meds on day 3, 3rd was estrogen priming with estrogen patches starting after ovulation then a day 2 US then meds starting day 3.  Ask your RE what protocol you're going to be on and why.  Each protocol has its pros and cons and it's good to do some research before you get started.  Good luck!

Yes! Every cycle starts with bc. Normally mine is for 14 days. Then I have my baseline ultrasound.
