Too Attatched?

My fiancé sometimes work out of town. & when he comes home I don’t really like for him to “hang”. Example. With his friends, clubs. Am I being to clingy? I get emotional and everything. Bc when he leaves he leaves for abt a week at a time. So I feel like when he’s home it should be all me. He literally doesn’t leave my side and I’m fine with that until his friends show up 🤦🏽‍♀️

Definitely not. He is your fiancé. My fiancé and I have an understanding that we need to let each other know plenty ahead of time if hanging out with friends is going to cut into our time together. I’m in school and have work, and he works full time so the weekend is mainly us time and if we hangout with our friends then it’s together. But during the week there are times that he will be out late with his buddy (but they’re just sitting in his buddy’s garage). I think the situation is all about communication and consideration for the other. Hope this helps😘

I mean, I’d be upset if my boyfriend was away for work and wanted to go to a club with his friends and not me.. Like what kind of club? My boyfriend works at a brewery so he’ll go to breweries with his friends sometimes, but he generally invited me.

I don't think so. I feel the same way. My hubby works out of town 80% o the time and some times he's states away for up to a month. I do let him go hang with friends but he also knows having him here is like a break for me (I'm a sahm) so he doesn't go out often. But then again he feels the same way when he's been out of town. He will come home and not want to let me off the couch when we're snuggling. He's told me he could spend all weekend holding me and not care after he's been out of town but ya know we have kids and dogs and a house to run.

Absolutely not you should both be on the same page. I know he has friends but you are his fiancé you are the number one. If he went out once and while that isn’t terrible either because he needs to also have that time with his friends.

If he "sometimes" works out of town then there's no reason for him to be with you 100% of the time when he is home. If he's out of town 5 days a week that would be slightly different, but even then the guy needs friend time too. You both do. You need lives outside of each other and your jobs. Do you have friends you can hang out with while he's with his friends? You should maybe start doing like one night a week or month or whatever works for you where he has his buddies over for a poker night or whatever and you and your girls go out for drinks or go to a movie or something.
