Nipple Soreness

So, my guy friend came to visit, from out of town, for a few days and we got intimate. Since we hadn't seen each other for a while he was very enthusiastic to say the least. He sucked really hard on my nipples to the point of discomfort, and now a couple days later one of my nipples is kind of itchy and sore. Has anyone else had this issue?
