Anxious for D day?

Anyone else anxious for the birthday?  I stumble upon labor and delivery vids on YouTube and it gives me so much anxiety thinking about my time. I get scared like what if I do it wrong? I’m scared I’ll be in labor for 42 hours lol I’m just freaking out. I literally can’t read any stories or watch any vids or I’ll have a stage 5

I’m normally super type A, but with my first (and this one, too) this was the thing I had to just let go of. What ever is going to happen, is going to happen, you can’t control it. The only thing you can really control is if you want an epidural or not! You have to trust in the doctor you have chosen to do what is best based on the circumstances for you and your baby. I trust my doctor and as long as baby and I are both alive at the end of the day, that’s all I care about, no matter what it takes to get there!

I get anxious thinking about it as well. I have never seen a childbirth (in person or on video) and I honestly do not plan to view one before I give birth! Childbirth and Labor class is next weekend and I am hoping they don’t show any videos.

Your body will do what it needs to do! You are strong and you will deliver a healthy, happy baby. Be fearful of nothing, everything will be great.
