Help.. confused

I been losing yellow thick mucus since 38 weeks and it stop now today I been having clear white/watery mucus discharge I’m 40 weeks tomorrow, does anyone knows if this mean labor is near or a sign of dilating ? I am 2cm and 70% soften but my cervix was still high as of Thursday.
