Breastfeeding for over a hour at a time?

My baby is 6 days old and since yesterday she has been feeding for a hour or longer. Is this normal? And I know I have enough milk bc I can pump a couple ounces off each breast at a time

Normal. It’s called cluster feeding.

My daughter did that for a while, her doctor said it was normal and to let them feed til they are done since they won’t over eat

That is a long time, I would be cautious as feeding for that long could burn more calories then what baby is taking in. Is she actively sucking the whole time or sleeping part of the time?

My baby used to eat around 45 minutes when she was that young. It felt like I was constantly feeding her!
She’s probably fine. Is she alert when she’s awake?

I’d say let her go! She’ll help you build your supply. As long as she has the right amount of wet diapers and seems content when she finishes then I don’t see an issue.
