Success stories with clomid/fertility treatments?

Question

What are your success stories? Husband and I have been TTC for just over 2 years now and I'm looking into my options. People have suggested clomid to me in the past, so I wanna hear your success stories; how long it took to concieve, how many times it took, his difficult it was to have it prescribed to you.
If you had a different treatment that was successful, please, let me know. I'm losing hope and I'm running out of time.

Our first IVF attempt worked. Our RE said that Clomid and the like wouldn't work for us. With IVF, I was on Lupron, Menopur, and Bravelle. We retrieved five eggs, four of which were mature and all four fertilized. By day three, only two were strong so those were transferred. We find out tomorrow how many of them stuck.

Our insurance didn't cover IVF but we feel it was worth it because it worked. I wish insurance would have but we weren't that lucky. Good luck!

Pregnant after 5th round of femara, lap surgery 1 year prior.

My husband and I tried for almost 2 years. My cycles were all over the place so my dr finally put me on femara. It worked on the 3rd month!! I really had no side effects other than a hot flash here and there. I would totally recommend it even though I know that's not what everyone else would say it was a great experience for us.

I started my first medicated cycle last month. Started with Clomid CD3-7. Did a hcg trigger shot at about CD10 (when RE told me to) and started progesterone suppositories from there. We got our BFP on the first try after trying for 15 months.

We skipped the meds and went straight to IVF as our dr said it was our only option. Despite me having endo, adeno, and polycystic ovaries, I ovulate just not well enough to sustain a pregnancy. So we did IVF right on the 2 and a half year mark of is ttc and were lucky that it worked first round. I now have a 3 month old baby girl :)

Anyway, so it's worth finding out your current progesterone levels and to see if you ovulate to see what will work best for you. But don't be too scared of treatments as it can reduce the stress levels like it did for us. The process of IVF was far less stressful than the 2+ years ttc before. Good luck xx

My nurse practitioner told me clomid causes endometrium so they like to suggest femara. My doctor wanted me to take clomid though.  I did my first round of clomid and will have my first IUI Thursday so if this doesn't work I will they will put me on femara next.

I got pregnant on the first round of Clomid with my now 7 yr old twins.

Though I'm not pregnant (YET!) I was on clomid for 6months and it didn't work. The dr said my hormone levels weren't on parr with normal ovulation and I didn't have any maturing follicles. We kept trying clomid but to no avail so I decided to switch gynos to one specializing in fertility. My new gyno put me on femara and boom i ovulated on the first month!!! I'm currently in the TWW but even if I'm not pregnant im just thankful To have ovulated bc I hadn't even done that yet!
