Let me tell you about my night/morning. My child thought it was party time and had me up every two hours with her hyper self.

I think I changed her diaper 12 times last night wondering if she was having sensory issues and couldn’t stand a wet diaper and I got so tired I just left her wipes on her changing table where she could get them. Mistake one

Around 5am she woke up. Just had a bottle diaper was still dry so I wondered if maybe she was too warm. So I took her out of her sleeper and just let her sleep in her diaper. Mistake two.

Around 7 this morning I wake up to baby chatter in the monitor so I get up stumble through the kitchen to her door and I freeze.

I’m immediately hit with a smell that made my Stomach dropped to my butt. I opened the door and what I saw.....

My overly intelligent one year old pooped out of her diaper. When I say out of her diaper I mean up he back, down her legs all over the crib sheet on the crib rungs, thankfully not on her face but her hand and there are poop covered baby wipes shredded in her crib. Like a giant mouse was trying to make a nest. She looked so proud that she knew it was poop and to get the baby wipes.

So I clean her up then I go to tackle her newly decorated room on a total of like 3 hours of sleep. So, moral of the story is sometimes you set your self up for failure through good intentions.
