I thought Breast feeding most people lost weight not gained it ?

total misconception. when breastfeeding your body naturally holds on to extra weight to fuel feedings. plus you typically have an appetite increase to ensure you're tajing in enough calories to produce milk. every woman i know that has breastfed gains weight or stayed the same and didn't lose pregnancy lbs until after they weaned their babies.

The women in my family do lose weight but it doesn't just drop off. But they did also get the increase in appetite. But instead of eating junk they are lots of fruits and veggies and lean meats.

nope, when you breastfeed you need more calories to keep up your supply plus you get more hungry more often, i gained as well
