toner on wet or dry hair?

I used wella toner on my towel dried hair as per the instructions and left it on for the maximum amount of time and am still seeing a lot of brassiness. I read somewhere to use it on dry hair for more of an effect? I've never done this before so I'm unsure. anyone with experience care to chime in? 🙄

Hi there,
Using toner on dry hair will definitely do a lot more than on wet or damp hair. If you’re still seeing brassy tones after I would go back to the salon so they can apply one of their toners. Good luck!!!

You need to make sure you are using the right level toner for your hair. If not it won't do a thing x

Do you have the purple shampoo? It’s called shimmer lights. If you hit it on your hair while dry, and leave it on for about five to ten minutes all of that brassy color should come out. When you use toners, it is usually applied on wet/damp hair.
