Natural birth and labor

Ashley

Okay i know im ahead of myself here, because im only 21 weeks, but i really want to go through labor naturally without any pain medication. Just the thought of a needle being stuck in my spine gives me the chills, and i want to avoid that as much as humanly possible. I cry when i get my blood drawn lol.

Im a very tiny person, weighing only 95 pounds prepregnancy and only 4 foot 11 inches tall.

My mother gave birth to my brother and i naturally 25 and 21 years ago, and she isnt much bigger than me. Probably 5'1. And she didnt have any classes other than lamaz? Idk if i spelled that right. But ive been researching it quite a bit but i want to know if anybody whos experienced it first hand has any advice for me on what to do and what not to do.

I live in a small town, which doesnt have hospitals, it has "medical centers" which scares me just as much as a needle does. And i know from quite a few ladies who have given birth here, they didnt have very good things to say about the medical here. And im very upset that my insurance wouldnt cover my sons birth if i went to vegas to have him, i live about 45-60 minutes away from las vegas.

So if anybody has any advice, or some tips to prepare, i would greatly appreciate it. I want to be able to experience birth naturally and be able to tell my son when he gets older how hard i worked to bring him into this world. ❤️
