If you’ve never experienced something, should you be allowed to have an opinion on it?

These are things where my opinion is seen as “invalid” because I’ve never experienced them:

Tipping, parenting, pregnancy (including alcohol & drug use), gun use, waitressing, being paid less than minimum wage, etc.

Do you think it’s fair to invalidate opinions based on someone’s experience or lack of?

Should you be a mental health professional if you’ve never personally experienced mental illness? Should you be a doctor if you’ve never even had a cold?

Edit: yes maybe those are bad examples, but I’m kinda pissed off rn and couldn’t think of anything else
