When do tests get lighter?

How long after your MC did your tests get lighter and/or completely be negative?

Answer

Mine was back to a negative test about two weeks later and four weeks later (today) my period started.. At least I think this is my period, nothing like they were before (super light and spotting like)

It took 1 month for my hcg to go to zero,  but I also had a d&c, I don't know if that makes a difference. 
I've heard of some women taking months.  Good luck,  and sorry for the loss.

Mine took 9 wks and 2 D&C's. :0(

My test got lighter before I even started bleeding. I woke up with an awful migraine (something I'd get when I was using bc and was on my period week). I had an extra test so I used it and the line was way Lighter than a week prior. Then I started bleeding later that day. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
