Low Placenta?!

Kayla

My midwife informed us that I have a very low laying placenta. I knew something was up when the ultrasound tech did an internal ultrasound. She said at 32 weeks I’ll do my ultrasound and we’ll see if it’s moved up or not. But she never told me what it means if it remains low. I did reading on my own (worst thing to do, I know) I’ve found that this may mean a c section, my sister in law told me I can be at risk for pre term labour. With this being my first child I’m super nervous as to what could happen. Anyone else had this situation? How’d it turn out?
