What is to like to have a child?

I don't have any children but I'm finally at that age where having a baby could be a reality. I like the idea of it. I'm just afraid I won't be able to find time for myself or will regret having a child for some reason. What are your experiences? I talk to some people and they make their child sound like a blessing while others make it sound like a curse. Does your child bring more joy or stress to your life?

My child is my everything ( my husband too) it is stressful and exhausting financially and mentally, there’s a major lack of sleep, combined with a ton of worrying. But he is worth it 10000000x over. He has brought so much joy we’re TTC #2

having a child all depends on how you look at things! they can be a pain but at the same time I would never give them up. so many joys come from children. it's just finding a balance.  do take time for yourself and also for you and your SO to go out time to time without kids.
