So my bf and I wanted to try out contraceptive films because we are look for a better ways to stay safe. (All condoms give me a rash)( and I have other reactions to other bc)

I have never used the film and wasn’t 100% sure I put it in right, so I took a plan b pill, just to be safe. I’ve never taken plan b before, so I am definitely no expert.

Is it possible to take a pregnancy test before my period to know if the pill/ contraceptive worked? If so, when?

Background (not 100% important) : My bf and I are both 18, have been together for almost 3 years ( friends for 5). We just aren’t ready for children, hence all the precocious. He says I don’t really need a test, that I will be fine and to just wait. But my next period isn’t until like Nov. 11 and thats seems to far.
